Century Park Hotel

This is a large hotel with 23 floors but doesn't feel impersonal at all. Comfortable room with very comfy bed. Clean and tidy. Breakfast good. very friendly and helpful staff. Above average hotel gym that I used every day I was there. Room service very good. Close to the BTS travel system at Victory Monument station. A good, value for money choice for a short stay in central Bangkok.

The hotel has a great location – only about 20 minutes’ walk from the main shopping malls. It is well soundproofed, so you don’t hear the traffic outside, except for the occasional ambulance sirens. The air conditioning unit is placed in the middle of the room, which is perfect for guests sensitive to direct airflow – unlike in many other hotels where it is placed directly above the bed. The hotel also has a swimming pool. However, half of it is only about 10 cm deep, just for dipping your feet. It would be even better if the whole pool had a depth of around 1.5 m so that more guests could actually swim. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. They even upgraded my room for free, because I happened to arrive after a long-haul flight on the very day when the hotel had a half-day power outage, which I hadn’t known when booking. This gesture really made a difference and deserves praise. Also, the elevators are very fast and convenient. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Century Park Hotel has an excellent location, within easy reach of malls, shopping, massage and nail salons, convenience stores, money exchange, as well as a variety of local and Western restaurants.

This was my third time staying at this hotel, and it fully met my expectations once again. The view is amazing, the room is very spacious, and the staff are incredibly helpful and genuinely caring. There’s one receptionist – I don’t know her name – but she’s so sweet. Every time I come back, she remembers me and always asks how I’m doing. It really makes the experience feel personal and welcoming. Highly recommended!

It’s a nice hotel but the room was a little tired. We had only two working outlets for our electronics and the bathroom had none. The bed was quite lumpy as well. Otherwise very clean. The food in both restaurants was very good and reasonably priced. Staff were very kind but spoke little English. The neighborhood is a little gritty and you have to walk several blocks to get to the sky train. But overall excellent value!
